Meet the Designer Monday: Marley van der Heijden

Hello friends,

It’s so good to be back on the blog today. We apologize for the disruption in posts lately due to some technical difficulties, but we are so happy to be back here with you! And since it is Monday, we are very excited to bring you more of our Meet the Designer series. So with out further ado, we’d like to introduce Marley van der Heijden.

My name is Marley van der Heijden, I am 23 years old and I live in the (cold and rainy) Netherlands.

I started to make cards about 4 years ago and started scrapbooking 1.5 years ago.
I love to scrap photo’s of our sweet dog Mister Wilson, so you will see him most of the time on my layouts.

I also love to alter projects and of course use lots of bling, pearls & flowers from Zva Creative.

My style is a bit shabby chic, vintage & grungy.

Besides scrapping I love to read, to shop (especially for shoes & bags… LOL), watch some good movies and take a long walk with our dog.

Its really an honour to be on the design team from Zva Creative because in my opinion they make the most beautiful pearl/crystal swirls.

I hope I can inspire you all with my projects.

Meet the Designer Monday: Helen Tilbury

Hello everyone and happy Monday to you! We are here today to introduce and welcome our newest guest designer, Helen Tilbury. Helen will be joining our blog hops in March, April and May to share her talent with you and Zva Creative. We are very happy to have her as a part of the team and hope you enjoy learning a bit more about her today!

Hello!  My name is Helen and I am a Scrapaholic!!  I love this hobby & you know how you find the time to fit anything into your life that you really love?  That’s me… a sleep deprived Scrap Addict  {that’s the name of my blog too and you can find it here} – http://helentilbury.blogspot.com.  I’m 40 something, married with 4 kids (3 of them teenagers– I know, poor me!!) I live in Durban, South Africa with the my bunch of crazies, including 3 cats.

Life in Africa has it’s challenges but it’s also good in many ways. We have a maid called Mercy, who saves me from the dreadful chore of laundry, thus providing me with scrappy time – yeah! This year I’ve returned to full-time employment but am managing to squish-squash my lovely obsession into my sleep time…yawn… Just kidding, fortunately I’m an energetic person (and my husband is a keen chef!) so I still get to indulge in my art for a bit each day as I love photography, art, melding them into one & blogging all about it.

Zva Creative March DT Blog Hop!

Meet the Designer Monday: Marilia Lopes

Marilia Lopes

I’m Marilia, mother of Gabriel and Marina, married to Peter. I am an extremely passionate about life and people, I love life stories. I’m electric, anxious to the extreme and I talk too much!
I live in a town called Paraisópolis, which is in the south of Minas, where the fresh air and nature are present in my day to day. I am a woman who likes things simple!
I love dogs, a full house and to be around people who make me happy.
I’ve been crafty since childhood …  and can do a little of everything!
I found scrapbooking a couple of years and it was love at first sight! The wealth of materials associated with our memories and our stories made scrapbooking my favorite hobby.
I already made mini albums, I’m crazy about recycling! The idea of turning what would go to waste on something different and beautiful … fascinates me.
I have seen my layouts evolve and they may still have a long way to go, but I think this magic right there.
I live a different life, I live in a city with my son and my husband and my daughter in another.
Every week we have people who stays and who goes!
The comment is a way to relax that became a passion.
Only brought good things … wonderful friends!
